The Schutt F7 features the TPU Surefit AiR liner, which promotes improved airflow and a more customized fit, providing a higher level of security. The face guards offered with the F7 are designed with a tapered shape to increase range of motion and reduce impact area, resulting in a glancing blow on frontal impacts.

In terms of safety, the Varsity Schutt F7 has earned a 5-star safety rating in the Helmet Ratings. It boasts TPU cushioning, an advanced impact absorption system that outperforms other helmets in a wider variety of temperatures.

The 3-Dimensional Movement Tektonic Plates are strategically located in the most impacted areas of the helmet and incorporate an additional TPU cushion. These plates move independently in multiple directions, enhancing the helmet's performance against rotational forces.
