The Schutt Sports F7 LX1 Youth Football Helmet comes equipped with a Carbon Steel Guard and a Black soft-cup chinstrap. The helmet's most advanced feature is its TPU (thermoplastic urethane) Cushioning, renowned for its superior impact absorption across a broad range of temperatures. This system ensures more effective protection compared to any other helmet available.

Strategically positioned in the helmet’s most vulnerable areas are 3-Dimensional Movement Tektonic Plates. These plates, equipped with additional TPU Cushioning, can move independently of the helmet in various directions. This flexibility enhances the helmet’s performance in mitigating rotational forces during impacts.

The Helmet Stabilization System (HSS) features an upgraded jaw pad configuration that offers greater comfort and stability. This system uses both internal and external stabilizers made from high-performance impact foam, enveloped in soft, durable synthetic leather. It frames the face securely, providing a locked-in feeling for the wearer.

The helmet also boasts a Multi-Layer, Integrated Liner System. This system includes a non-inflatable lateral air liner, a non-inflatable Comfort Fit Liner in the crown, and the Radial Diffusion System (RDS) liner. These components work together to facilitate independent movement of the liner, TPU Cushioning, and the wearer’s head, ensuring a better fit and enhanced protection against rotational forces.

The Flexural Resistance Shell Design is another notable feature, integrated into the back shelf and temporal side wings of the shell. The SureFit inflatable Air Liner along the back and sides of the helmet reduces weight while providing a customized fit.
