Schutt F7 VTD Youth Football Helmet

The all-new Schutt F7 Football Helmet features Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) Cushioning, which is the most advanced impact absorption system available. TPU Cushioning offers superior impact absorption across a wide range of temperatures, outperforming all other helmets. This cushioning is highly versatile and customizable, efficiently managing heat without taking a compression set. Strategically placed in areas that receive the most impacts, Tektonic Plates and the new external TPU Cushion enhance the helmet's performance against rotational forces, adding an extra layer of impact absorption.

The Tektonic Plates are designed to move independently of the helmet shell, reacting in multiple directions to better distribute the energy of an impact. The helmet also features a larger, more comfortable jaw pad configuration that frames your face and creates a secure, "locked-in" fit. The Helmet Stabilization System (HSS) increases surface contact area, providing a more secure and comfortable fit. High-performance impact foam is wrapped in soft, durable, and comfortable fireman's leather. Internal and external stabilizers add strength and reinforce the ear flap, reducing the number of attachment points on the helmet to three.

The Rapid Release System includes a patented Twist Release Nose Bumper and two Quarter Turn Releases on the sides, allowing for quick attachment or removal of a faceguard with just a few small turns of a screwdriver and a twist. The F7 helmet shell is engineered with Flexural Resistance areas, including the back shelf and temporal side wings, to improve the overall strength and durability of the shell in critical locations. These design features enhance impact absorption and allow for increased TPU Cushioning in those areas.

TPU Cushioning, the most advanced impact absorption system in football, absorbs more impact across a wider variety of temperatures than any other helmet on the field. In the most impacted areas of the helmet, 3-Dimensional Movement Tektonic Plates incorporate an additional TPU Cushion and move independently of the helmet in multiple directions, improving the helmet's performance against rotational forces.

The Helmet Stabilization System incorporates a larger, more comfortable jaw pad configuration. Using both internal and external stabilizers and high-performance impact foam, it provides a secure, "locked-in" feel inside the helmet. The Flexural Resistance Shell Design, engineered into the back and temporal sides of the shell, improves the structure, strength, and durability of the helmet. This design increases the area for TPU Cushioning in high-impact areas, enhancing impact absorption.

The helmet comes standard with a carbon steel guard and traditional loop straps. The Rapid Release system allows for quick attachment or removal of the facemask, which is sold separately.
